Fun or Fly Swats

These hand-made leather Fun / Fly Swats are serious tools! Whether you're swatting a fly or thinking differently - you'll love them! Repurposed from English riding crops, these swatters are 57cms long and pack a punch!

I hand stitch the faces from premium grade English double-butt leather, team them up with recycled riding crop shafts; then set them with resin into hand-turned hardwood handles with copper collars. A leather hanging strap finishes off a tool that is an art piece.

It's so good-looking that your friends will pick it up, snap it back and forth; then look at you with a gleam in their eye (that may not have anything to do with flies)! Be warned: these are not toys - when people start swinging - they sting!
