Presentation boards - Alpine Ash

Using our beautiful Victorian Alpine Ash, I've designed some hard-wearing cutting and presentation boards. With Ash handles anchored in place with copper studs and elbows, these boards are edge-routed, sanded to 600 grade and sealed with two coats of food-safe polyurethane. The boards are 370mm (14 1/2") in length and 185mm (7 1/2") across - they work well with one side kept as a day-to-day preparation / cutting board; then flipping over to use as a cheese and fruit presentation board.

Colours and grain vary from salmon pink shades to light greys - I try and choose the most interesting combinations. Avoid using a dishwasher and occasionally wipe over with a food-safe light oil.
